SELLING YOUR PHONE

Why do you need an IMEI number?

IMEI is a 15-digit number which is individually allocated to every mobile device in the world. It is used to check the authenticity of every Mobile Phone.

How can we cancel the sale?

In order to cancel the sale, login to your account and press cancel order. However, it has to be done before we receive the delivery.

What if my phone is not turning on?

We also buy and recycle ‘’Dead Phones’’ often called ‘’Brick Phones’’. We take out all the usable materials and parts before sending it to the recycling process.

How do you value a phone?

It depends on the condition of the mobile phone. A clean and fully working phone has more value; whereas, a faulty or damaged phone has less value.

How to determine the condition of a phone?

POSTAGE & PACKAGING

Can I use my own postage?

Yes, you can. However, we would encourage to use recyclable materials.

How secure the packaging should be?

It should be either bubble or foam wrapped to avoid damage during transit.

Is free postage insured?

Yes, but only up to £100. However, if your device is worth more than £100 we encourage you to use Special Delivery which has the insurance value of up to £750.

How much would it cost to use special delivery?

It costs around £6.70-£7.50. It depends on the weight of the item.

Can I change my delivery address?

Yes, you can. However, you must inform us immediately either by contacting us direct or by logging into your account.

How can I print my free postage label?

We will email you the postage label in PDF version. You just have to download and print the postage label.

My free sales pack is damaged.

Do not worry if it gets damaged during transit. Inform us and we will send you a replacement free sales pack.

I did not receive my free sales pack.

If you did not receive your free sales pack, contact us direct or request another from your account.

PAYMENT

How long it takes to receive a cheque?

It normally takes 1-2 working days. We use Royal Mail First Class Service.

How long it takes to clear a cheque?

It normally takes 3-5 working days. However, it depends on your bank.

Can I change my payment method?

Yes, you can. However, it has to be arranged before we have inspected the device.

How do I get a PayPal Account?

It is very simple. Go to www.PayPal.com and provide your details to register.

How does PayPal work?

If you have a PayPal account then provide your email or phone number and money will be transferred in to your PayPal account within 2 hours.

What if I do not have a bank account?

No problem, just select another payment method; Cheque or PayPal.

Can I be paid in cash?

Sorry No. Our business has a no-cash payment policy.

Do you charge VAT?

Yes, we do, VAT is already included in our offered prices.

Why can I not login to my account?

No problem. Please contact us and we will sort it for you.  

How can I change my details?

By logging in to your account.

How can I change my password?

Yes, any time. Just log in to your account and change your password.

How can I retrieve my account details?

By logging in to your account.

DATA & ACTIVATION LOCK

What if you find some personal data on my mobile phone?

We remove any personal data before sending the device off. We ensure that your data has been removed completely.  

Can you check if my data has been removed?

Our data removal protocol removes all data before the Mobile Phone leaves our premises.

OTHERS

What if I want to send more than one mobile phone?

Yes, you can. However, you would have to arrange your own secure packaging or contact us for assistance.

What if I want to send Mobile Phone accessories as well?

Yes, you can. However, you would not be paid extra for the accessories.

What happens with my phone after sale?

Your Mobile Phone will be fully inspected and upon our findings, the fate of the Mobile Phone will be decided. If it is fully working then it would be used either nationally or internationally. However, if the device is faulty or damaged and its repairing or fixing is beyond economic justification, we would take all the usable parts and send it for recycling.
